KEVIN BARNETT
Hey! I’m Kevin Barnett, owner and artist at Barnett Bodyart. I’ve been tattooing professionally since 2014 and opened Barnett Bodyart with my wife, after moving from Texas to Connecticut in 2017.
Working at Walk-In shops has ensured I’m a well-rounded artist, and am confident taking on most styles, However - currently I have a strong passion for New School and Neo-Traditional, specializing in bold, colorful, and dynamic designs (no portraits — just not my thing). I design every tattoo during the appointment, allowing for real-time collaboration so you get exactly what you’re envisioning without the stress.
Building lasting client relationships and providing a great experience from start to finish is very important to me. Starting a multi-session project? Cool — just know there’s a 100% chance we end up friends. It’s happened every time, and all of my long-term clients can confirm..

LUKE WOLFGANG
Hey, I’m Luke Wolfgang — tattoo artist, tattoo machine builder, and full-time professional nitpicker. I’m originally from Massachusetts, and I’ve been making things my whole life, but tattooing is the one I chose to commit to forever… just like your tattoo.
I started my tattoo career at 16 through a traditional apprenticeship and was tattooing professionally by 18, so I’ve basically spent my entire adult life in a shop arguing about line weights and whether that stencil is one millimeter off. I tattoo color realism, black & grey realism, anime/video game characters, and neo-traditional — if it’s challenging, detailed, and slightly stressful (in a good way), I’m in.
Best part of the job? That moment when you stop bleeding, stand up, look in the mirror, and immediately forget how uncomfortable you were five minutes ago. My goal is to give you a tattoo you won’t shut up about, a session that’s actually fun, and zero regrets once you walk out the door.

Hi, I'm Liberty Wells, a tattoo apprentice with 2 years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for drawing. Art has always been a core part of who I am, and tattooing has opened up a whole new world of creative freedom for me.
I love the connection it brings between art and people—turning ideas into permanent, personal expressions on skin.
While I’m eager to gain experience in all styles, I’m especially drawn to Traditional, Cyber Sigilism, Black Work, and Neo Traditional. Each of these styles lets me explore bold designs, intricate patterns, and expressive linework in unique and exciting ways.

CHOOSING THE BEST ARTIST FOR YOUR TATTOO
If you haven't decided yet on the tattoo artist who will do your first tattoo, we advise choosing someone you feel comfortable with and can envision yourself having fun working with.
We recommend following all of our artists on Instagram to get a feeling of who they are - and what style of tattoos they enjoy doing! A person’s feelings regarding the tattoo on their body are greatly influenced by their tattoo experience. All of Barnett Bodyart's Tattoo artists showcase their work individually online, and they will also make the time to chat if you stop by the shop during business hours.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
A good tattoo is rarely something you can get done on your lunch break, unless you want something very, very small. That means you should be prepared to be at our tattoo shop for a decent period of time. So eat before you come (but not after you've drank please) – and bring anything that will help you feel comfortable or keep you busy during downtime!

Bree, has been passionate about body modification from a young age. With nearly a decade of experience, she is highly skilled in a variety of piercings, including genital piercings and dermal anchors. Bree is dedicated to offering safe, comfortable, and stress-free piercing experiences for clients of all ages.
She specializes in ear piercings for children, ensuring a gentle approach with a focus on minimizing anxiety. Bree holds certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid CPR/AED, and Anatomy & Physiology, further demonstrating her commitment to safety and expertise.
When you visit, you can expect a welcoming, sterile environment where your safety and comfort are always the top priority. Bree is excited to help you achieve your piercing goals and ensure a positive experience from start to finish!
